Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses LufsReady, including the website, dashboard, free tools and API. It is part of our Terms of Service. We keep it strict because it protects our users, the people whose voices are recorded, and the integrity of the Service.

2. Only upload content you have the right to process

• Upload only recordings you created, own, or are licensed or otherwise legally permitted to process and modify.
• Where the law requires it, obtain the consent of people who are recorded (for example, interview guests or call participants) before recording and processing their voices.
• Do not upload copyrighted material belonging to others, such as commercial music, films, TV broadcasts, audiobooks or podcasts you do not have rights to, including for the purpose of redistributing it.

3. Prohibited content and uses

You may not use the Service to create, process or distribute content or engage in activity that:

• is fraudulent or deceptive, including scams, phishing, impersonating a person or organization, misleading robocalls or fake customer-service lines;
• was recorded unlawfully, such as covert recordings made without the consent the law requires, or that violates anyone's privacy;
• sexually exploits or endangers minors, in any form (we report such material to the relevant authorities);
• promotes violence, terrorism or violent extremism, or threatens, harasses, bullies or incites hatred against people based on protected characteristics;
• infringes intellectual property, publicity or other rights of others;
• facilitates illegal goods or services, including illegal drugs, weapons, gambling where unlawful, or unlicensed financial services;
• is pornographic or sexually explicit;
• contains malware, or is intended to harm, interfere with or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
• violates sanctions or export laws, or any other applicable law.

4. Protecting the Service

• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, minute accounting, authentication or rate limits, or to access other users' files or accounts.
• Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service except under our responsible disclosure process (see Security).
• Do not overload the Service, for example with automated uploads beyond the documented API limits.
• Do not create multiple accounts to collect additional free minutes, share accounts with people outside your organization, or resell access to the Service.
• Do not use stolen payment methods, or buy minutes with the intention of disputing the charge.
• Payments must be made only for LufsReady minutes, by the account holder or their organization.

5. Enforcement

We do not monitor or listen to your files as a matter of course. We may review a specific account or file when we receive a complaint, detect abuse signals (such as payment fraud or attempts to bypass limits), or are required to by law. If we find a violation we may remove content, suspend processing, revoke API keys, or suspend or close the account, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Where appropriate we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to respond.

6. Reporting abuse

To report content or behavior that violates this policy, including copyright infringement, email contact@lufsready.com with the subject "Abuse report" and as much detail as you can (what, where, when). We acknowledge reports within one business day.
